Physical Therapist assist patients in rehabilitating physical problems caused by illness, injury, disability, or age, through treatment. The responsibilities of a Physical Therapist include planning treatments, reviewing recovery, and conducting therapeutic exercises with patients.
An Occupational Therapist, or OTR, is responsible for providing patients with treatment to help them develop and improve their ability to complete everyday tasks related to their job and daily life. For self-care ability, OTR evaluates the patient’s functional status (muscle functions, endurance, and visual coordination.
Speech-Language pathologist assistant (SLPA) directly provides services to children and discuss plan of care, goals with family under the supervision of Speech-Language pathologist. SLPA conducts speech, language, fluency and voice screening without interpretation using appropriate standardized tools.
